Paula Rodrígez

Mathematics and Industrial Engineering from the University of Los Andes (2018). She currently works as a Junior Data Mining Researcher in Quantil | Applied mathematics, where I have developed and implemented credit scoring models, crime prediction models and models for the allocation of police resources in Bogotá, Colombia. In addition, she has been a complementary professor for the Faculty of Economics and Professor of Machine Learning for the Continuing Education Program, both at the University of Los Andes. Prior to Quantil, she worked as a Research Assistant at Cornell University, where she developed functional data analysis tools for the ‘fda’ package of statistical language R. She is an ambassador for Women in Data Science (WiDS) for Bogotá and has worked as a Data Science Trainee at the Data Pop Alliance where he developed machine learning tutorials for the national statistics departments of Colombia, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
