SISCOVID:

Systemic epidemiological intelligence models to estimate COVID-19 infection dynamics supporting decision making.

SISCOVID is an interdisciplinary and intersectoral research project in five cities in Colombia: Barranquilla, Bogota, Cali, Cartagena and Medellin. The project is led by the Universidad de los Andes, the Universidad de Ibagué and the Centro Nacional de Consultoría and funded by Minciencias. The objective of SISCOVID is to provide city decision makers with tools for pandemic monitoring in order to design and evaluate interventions with information from three mathematical simulation models, a SEIR model, an agent-based model, and a Bayesian alarm system. The models are fed by conducting three waves of 4200 surveys to support informed decision making to help mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
