Andrés Galeano

Andres Galeano is a partner at Quantil S.A.S. Economist and Business Administrator from the Universidad de los Andes with an MSc in Economics from the same university and an MSc in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a Partner and Project Director in Financial Mathematics and Data Mining, with eleven years of experience at Quantil SAS. He has also worked at the Universidad de los Andes for eleven years as a researcher, assistant consultant, and adjunct professor in various courses.He is a lead instructor for Continuing Education courses at the Universidad de los Andes in Risk Measurement and Management, Portfolio Optimization, Time Series, and Algorithmic Trading. He led the development of a risk measurement and management system for companies in the Oil & Gas, automotive, agricultural, and retail sectors. He has been involved in building portfolios for various investment funds and is the Director of the Fasecolda Valuation Guide.
